The patient was treated with 2 implants (16 and 17) placed by transcrestal-guided sinus floor elevation technique (Closed Transcrestal-Guided Sinus Lift (TGSL)).
As you can see, the preoperative digital implant planning made it possible to position the implants taking into account the use of maxillary sinus floor augmentation.

The surgical guide allowed the surgeon to safely breach the sinus floor while keeping the sinus membrane intact during the TGSL procedure.
