The main feature of the case is a narrow alveolar crest. It is necessary, for correct installation of the implant to smooth out the sharp crestal bone.
The ImplaStation software has a user-friendly visual planning interface for drilling, which shows the implant, the guide sleeve and the drills. The library of drills can be filled with stl-models of real cutting tools. Due to this, it is possible to plan the installation of the implant while simultaneously smoothing the alveolar crest.
